Vacancy: Experienced Finance Assistant Do you ensure that the financial administration is spot on? Do you have several years' experience in a financial role and do you thrive on well-organised administration? Then we're looking for you! We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team, who will independently handle the day-to-day financial administration and play a key role within our organisation. Together with the Finance Manager, you will form a small but effective finance team, where you will be given a great deal of autonomy. What will you do? - You process and check purchase invoices. - You draw up sales invoices and process them in the accounts. - You will be responsible for accounts payable and ensuring that suppliers are paid on time. - You monitor outstanding items within accounts receivable and send payment reminders where necessary. - You process bank transactions and ensure the accounts are correctly reconciled. - You prepare payments and payment batches. - You will assist with the preparation of VAT returns. - You will provide support with monthly and annual closings. - You prepare simple financial reports. - You liaise with suppliers, customers and colleagues on financial matters. - You actively contribute ideas on optimising financial processes and administrative tasks.
