Omschrijving - Description Overall objectives The Legal Specialist provides independent and risk-based legal advice to FSSC. The role supports sound decision-making, effective governance and the protection of FSSC's interests, products and services, intellectual property and stakeholder relationships. The Legal Specialist proactively identifies, assesses and monitors legal and compliance risks, supports risk owners in defining mitigation measures, and coordinates with external advisors in case specialized knowledge is required. The role translates legal and regulatory developments into pragmatic business solutions that enable FSSC to achieve its strategic objectives while maintaining legal integrity and compliance. KEY RESULT AREAS - Provide independent practical legal advice to the Executive Board, Management Team and other internal stakeholders. - Review documents, decisions and organizational initiatives for legal and compliance implications. - Draw, review and negotiate commercial, supplier, partnership, licensing and other agreements and advises agreement owners on legal risks, obligations and potential issues. - Support the protection of FSSC's intellectual property. - Identify, assess, document and monitor legal and compliance risks. - Manage legal claims, disputes and other legal matters. - Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments, assess the impact and translate them into practical recommendations for FSSC.
