As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at PACCAR, you drive engineering excellence in Eindhoven, delivering robust model-based software solutions for world-class vehicle control systems. In this role, you strengthen the 50-engineer Software Development Team within DAF Embedded Engineering. You collaborate closely with international engineering hubs in Eindhoven, Pune, and Renton to build and optimize control software platforms. Your key responsibilities: - Design, integrate, and evolve embedded software platforms for PACCAR vehicles - Develop model-based application software using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow - Guide cross-functional decisions with architects, product owners, and validation teams - Enhance engineering maturity, CI/CD toolchains, and ASPICE-compliant development practices - Mentor junior engineers and lead technical code and architecture reviews Functie-eisen You are successful when: - You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline - You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive embedded software development - You have proven experience with AUTOSAR architecture (ASW, BSW, ARXML) and CAN networks - You possess advanced programming skills in C, C++, and Python - You have hands-on experience with Model-Based Software Development using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow Competenties - Strong conceptual and analytical skills to comprehend complex system and software challenges - A pragmatic, results-oriented, and collaborative mindset within an international matrix organizatio...
