Company Address: Unit 2, 2 Bridge Street, Athlone, Westmeath, N37F1W4 Workplace Address: Unit 2, 2 Bridge Street, Athlone, Westmeath, N37F1W4 We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment used in the company’s projects and operations. Main Responsibilities: ● Examine drawings and technical specifications to determine the methods and sequence of work; ● Install, assemble, adjust, repair and maintain machinery and equipment; ● Dismantle machinery and equipment to identify, repair or replace defective components; ● Assemble and adjust mechanical parts and sub-assemblies, ensuring correct alignment and operation; ● Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment; ● Test the operation of machinery and equipment following maintenance or repair and make any necessary adjustments. Requirements: ● Previous experience in machinery and equipment maintenance and/or a related field; ● Practical experience in assembling, repairing and adjusting mechanical components; ● Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
