Job Purpose:
A Yard Hand performs a variety of yard activities including operating a forklift to move product and materials through the yard.
Job Duties:
Loading and unloading of delivery trucksLoading relay trucksReviews products loaded against order, invoice, requisition to ensure accuracyCompletes daily paperwork as neededCompletes inventory daily to ensure product is well stocked at all timesOperating a forklift to move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areasPerforms routine clean- up of yard. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentForklift experience required Must be able to lift up to 35lbsPrior experience in a light industrial environmentMust have good verbal and written communication skills.
