Performing quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatingsCompleting associated clerical work (entering results into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.)Performing 5S cleaning and maintaining the areaEstablishing and maintaining accurate and complete quality records in SAPPerforming color quality tests; making batch additions and adjustmentsImplementing necessary and timely batch corrections directly to ProductionCalibrating and verifying test equipmentInvestigating and analyzing non-conforming batches (internal and external)Supporting Lean ManufacturingEnsuring sample retention managementPerforming some customer proofing To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalentBe able to pass a color vision testDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skillsBe flexible to cover other shifts if neededHave excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and good math skillsHave 6 to 12 months previous Lab/QC related work experienceBe able to stand for long periods of timeIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
