Works on stablishing metadata management, data catalogs, data standards, and best practices for Master Data ManagementDevelops Data Governance, standards, roadmap, and architecture decisionsDevelops standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data integration/synchronizationDefines data strategy, policies, controls and programs to ensure that the enterprise data is accurate, secure and reliableIdentifies areas for data quality improvementEngages with relevant internal parties and external vendors in best practice sharing and effective Master Data Management solution deliveryProvides data consultation on complex projects and acts as a top level specialistEnsures compliance with data architecture principles and standards for the various systems and components based on design patternsLeads selection of preferred data management technologies
Requirements:
Deep understanding of Distributed Architectures is required. Best practices at development cycles of an Agile methodologyHands on experience configuring and tuning Apache Hadoop CDH (Cloudera Distribution Hadoop) or Hortonworks distributionGood communication skillsGood practices, proactivity and client-facing skillsArchitectural understanding of the Big Data ecosystem All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
