10+ years performance engineering Architect with client facing experience. Must possess a strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web, web services, distributed and mainframe databases, mainframe and messaging layersVery strong experience in performance diagnostics, capacity planning, and performance architecture designMust have a stellar record of mentoring, and leading the Performance Engineers to even greater accomplishments to ensure that application meets the highest standards of Performance, Scalability, and Reliability in the industryMust be meticulous and excel in software architecture analysis, operating system principles, hardware architectures, and troubleshooting complex performance issuesMust possess strong experience using and implementing best practice programs with respect to load generation, bottleneck analysis, usage of modeling tools and statistical analysisMust be able to provide technical leadership to other members of the technology team and to projects under testExpert ability to capture/analyze /interpret technical data - performance metrics from application, database, OS, and NetworkExpert ability to identify / resolve system bottlenecksFamiliarity with current technologies is required; especially in complex, transaction-intensive web-based systems utilizing SOA techniques preferably implemented using Java, Big data and Web ServicesAbility to clearly characterize system performance results to stakeholdersMust have experience in reporting test results to different functional groups and external and internal clientsExperience in developing performance testing frameworkExperience in open source distributed performance testing frameworksExperience with planning and managing any of the following teams: performance diagnostic, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, or software development teamAbility to distill volumes of data, analyze performance results, and diagnose performance problemsAbility to work independently and interface collaboratively with development, engineering and architecture teams requiredExpertise in tuning various complex architectural application in meeting performance requirementsExpertise in recommending architectural changes to improve system performanceExperience in implementing best practices in system design to meet performance requirementsExperience in guiding development team throughout development process to implement best practices in performance engineering processEstablish performance engineering processExpert troubleshooting and reasoning skillsMust have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to successfully liaison with cross-functional groups.Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills; able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
