We are seeking a dedicated In-Villa Dining (IVD) Order Taker to join our luxury resort team in {NAME}, Maldives. As an IVD Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences from the comfort of their villas.
Answer incoming calls from guests and take accurate food and beverage ordersProvide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methodsAssist guests with special dietary requirements or food allergiesInput orders into the resort's point-of-sale system with precisionCoordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of ordersHandle guest inquiries and requests related to in-villa dining servicesUpsell additional items and promote daily specials when appropriateMaintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, pricing, and promotionsEnsure all orders are accurately recorded and billed to the correct villaAdhere to all food safety and hygiene standards Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenPrevious experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred)Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale softwareStrong knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions and allergiesExceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organisational skillsFood safety certification (preferred)Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectationsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWillingness to work in a tropical island environmentPositive attitude and ability to work well in a team WORK WITH CONSTANCE
