Job Title: Federal Accounting Analyst
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Arlington, VA
Job Description:
The Accounting Analyst will serve as a member of a large project team and will support the client's financial improvement and audit compliance goals through a variety of work streams. The team member will be required to possess and/or build a working knowledge of financial management and logistics business processes to support our client in achieving financially sound, improved business processes.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting
•Minimum 1 internship in an accounting related field, such as tax accounting, auditing, or accounting consulting
•CPA Candidate

Self-driven, willingness to learn, and able to develop relationships with client personnelProven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team memberGood communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsGood organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skillsGood understanding of auditing procedures or audit readiness activitiesBasic understanding of DoD property (asset) management and valuation Working knowledge of GAAP, GAGAs Yellow Book audit standards.General understanding of accounting system processing and interfaces, specifically ERP systemsProven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team memberDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilianDemonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
