About this role

About Peak Physical TherapyPeak Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient practice with two locations in Helena, MT, reinvigorated a few years ago when Anthony Purviance took ownership alongside co-owner Courtney, bringing fresh energy and dual-specialty mentorship in orthopedics and neurology to the practice. You get 40-minute sessions with no double-booking, unlimited CE funding, and up to $19,000 in fellowship and career investment on top of a competitive base, plus a caseload spanning ortho, neuro, sports, and vestibular care that few two-location practices can match. Whether you're building clinical expertise, growing into leadership, or aiming for ownership yourself, Peak offers a clear track to get there, in a city just ranked the #1 place to live in Montana.

Compensation PackageThis role pays $65,000–$96,200 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.

In addition we provide:

$10,000 sign-on bonus

Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend

17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure

$10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly

Relocation assistance available

BenefitsOn top of that, you get the standard package, done right:

Medical insurance, with the clinic covering roughly 75% of your premium

HSA option with employer contributions

401(k) with an employer match that vests immediately

Dental and vision insurance

Short-term disability and life insurance options

Why Clinicians Choose Peak Physical TherapyAt Peak Physical Therapy you’ll get more than a job. You’ll get a career path, mentorship, and the chance to work in one of the country’s most beautiful regions. Some highlights:

Unlimited continuing education and specialty certifications, no budget cap, no approval process

A real path to Clinic Director or another clinical leadership role

Reasonable caseloads and flexible scheduling

Evidence-based care, backed by the technology and time to deliver it

Life in Helena, MTHelena was just named the #1 Best Place to Live in Montana (US News & World Report, 2026), with a median home price around $389,000, far below what you'd pay in Bozeman, Denver, or Seattle. It's a walkable capital city, small enough to know your neighbors but with a real downtown, breweries, and restaurants. Outdoor access is built in: hiking trails and reservoirs in town, skiing 45 minutes away, and Glacier and Yellowstone both a short drive away.

What You’ll Be DoingMost of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:

Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities

Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention

Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress

Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it
