About this role

Bel-Aire Veterinary Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

We’re looking for someone who ideally already understands the veterinary environment — the terminology, the pace, and the emotional weight of caring for people’s pets. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.

Schedule and compensation:

Compensation: $16 - 18 per hour, for each hour worked Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule, working 4 days per week with one weekday off. Availability needed Monday–Friday. No on-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience strongly preferred Proficiency in the following skills:

Knowledge of veterinary terminology, common vaccines, medications, and procedures Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Covetrus Pulse, preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
