Your next opportunity awaits! Toyota Santa Monica is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Express Service Technician to join our team. We’re open to candidates who are new to the automotive industry, with 6 months of Express/Lube Technician experience preferred. Experience with dealerships, AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, or independent automotive shops is a plus.
Responsibilities
The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs. Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs. Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Qualifications
Preferred: Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Manufacturer certification is desired, and a degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.
Compensation:
The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.47 - $20.00.
