*WHO WE?RE LOOKING FOR*
You know your way around a kitchen. You can handle a busy line, keep your station organized, and get quality food out consistently...even when the kitchen gets hot!
We?re looking for a *Line Cook* who is ready for more than just working their station. Someone who can help lead a shift, support the team, spot what needs to be done and jump in without waiting to be asked.
You don?t need to be a chef. You do need to be experienced, dependable, organized and confident in a fast-paced kitchen.

That means:
* Cooking and preparing menu items consistently and to our standards * Helping organize the kitchen and coordinate the flow of service * Keeping an eye on ticket times, quality and presentation * Supporting and guiding other kitchen team members during busy shifts * Helping train new team members and reinforcing proper procedures * Making sure stations are stocked, prepped and ready for service * Following food safety and sanitation standards * Monitoring inventory and letting management know what we?re running low on * Helping reduce waste and making sure products are stored, rotated and handled properly * Completing opening, closing and cleaning responsibilities * Stepping in wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
*WHAT YOU BRING*
We?re looking for someone with _previous cooking or line experience_ who is ready to take on more responsibility.
Ideally, you have:
* Experience in a busy restaurant or food-service kitchen * Strong line cooking and food preparation skills * A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen cleanliness * The ability to stay organized when it gets busy * Good communication skills and the confidence to help direct a team * A strong work ethic and a ?see it, do it? mentality * Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays
Previous lead or supervisory experience is an asset, but we?re also open to a strong cook who is ready for their next step.
*WHY THE ALLEY?*
The Alley is a busy entertainment venue, which means our kitchen can move fast. Bowling leagues, birthday parties, events, weekends and packed nights all bring something different. If you like a workplace where the shift goes quickly and there?s always something happening, you?ll fit right in.
Personal and professional development opportunities are available for the right candidates!
*THE BOTTOM LINE*
Can you cook? Can you lead? Can you keep your cool when the kitchen gets slammed?
Apply today and tell us a little about your kitchen experience and why you?d be a great addition to The Alley team.
