The Links of Kent Golf Club and Event Centre is a premier golf and event venue in the
heart of Chatham, Ontario. Alongside our well maintained 27-hole course, we feature a
full-service restaurant open year-round, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our facility
also hosts a variety of special events across two event centers, including weddings,
celebrations of life, meetings, showers, golf tournaments, and private functions ?
providing high-quality dining experiences for all occasions.
*About the Role*
We?re looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role
is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride
in preparing quality food. This opportunity is for year-round service, where you?ll be
responsible for preparing and cooking menu items during daily service of breakfast,
lunch and dinner. You will also assist with food preparation and service for events.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items for daily restaurant service * Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies * Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and to standard * Assist with prep work for events and functions * Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked throughout service * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations * Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly * Help with opening and closing duties as required * Be part of a positive, team-oriented, and professional kitchen culture
*Qualifications*
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a line cook is preferred * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to reliably commute to venue

* Hourly rate will be based off experience, with additional tip out monthly * Year-round, stable employment with a great mix of daily restaurant service and events * Food Handler Certification is an asset
