*Duties*
* Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving meals according to established menus and safety standards * Ensure all food handling practices meet sanitation and food safety regulations * Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation * Serve residents and staff with friendly, attentive customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly * Manage time effectively to ensure timely meal delivery and efficient kitchen operations * Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and waste * Support with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is highly preferred * Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally * Experience with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively * Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties as needed
