*About Role *
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mascot Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. This role involves designing and building high-quality mascot costumes, props, and accessories using a variety of materials and techniques. The ideal candidate is hands-on, creative, and technically strong, with the ability to translate concepts and designs into finished products while maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
*What You?ll Do:*
· Design and fabricate mascot heads, bodies, shoes, props, and accessories using foam materials such as Etha foam, Ester foam, and Plastazote
· Develop patterns using software (e.g., Blender) or manual techniques such as taping and mock-ups
· Interpret 2D drawings and concepts into 3D finished products with accurate proportions and detailing
· Use tools such as Olfa knives, band saws, heat guns, and Dremel tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing
· Apply painting techniques including spray painting, hand painting, masking, and finishing
· Create and assemble facial features and accessories using plastics, screens, and foam materials
· Perform basic electrical work including wiring and soldering where required
· Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project requirements and timelines
· Troubleshoot production challenges and make necessary adjustments during fabrication
· Maintain an organized and safe workspace, ensuring tools and materials are readily available
· Repair and maintain mascot costumes, props, and accessories as needed
· Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards
*Qualifications and Skills:*
· Minimum 3 years of experience in mascot fabrication, cosplay, upholstery, or a related production environment
· Hands-on experience working with foam sculpting and fabrication techniques
· Experience in warehouse or production environments preferred
· Familiarity with pattern-making techniques (digital or manual)
· Experience with basic electrical work (wiring, soldering) is an asse
· Strong technical and spatial understanding of shapes, angles, and curves
· Proficiency in using fabrication tools and materials safely and effectively
· Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
· Ability to interpret designs and translate them into physical products
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
· Strong collaboration skills and a positive team-oriented attitude

Pay: $18.60-$23.00 per hour
