Superior Facility Services is a family owned company who have been providing services to long term care and retirement facilities for over 30 years. Currently we are searching for part time housekeeping aide for our location in Orangeville Ontario - Avalon Retirement Lodge.
- Must have proof of immunization for Covid 19
- Two Step TB test required
- Must be able to obtain successful Vulnerable Sector police check
Night shift - 11pm to 7am - seven (7) shifts per pay period. Must be available seven days a week.
Duties:
Maintain overall cleanliness and upkeep of all facility including flooring; Follow job routines to maintain overall cleanliness of facility; Launder and deliver facility linens and resident clothing; Sweep, mop and wash floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; Clean, disinfect fixtures; Disinfect rooms and other areas; Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; Clean and disinfect elevators; Handle and report lost and found items; Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand for long periods (experience is an asset but willing to train the right candidate)
Must enjoy working with seniors and bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday.
Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time.
Willing to train the right candidate but experience is considered an asset.
