About the Role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager the Quality Assurance Technician ensures that parts, products, and assemblies are compliant and conform to the requirements of the Steelhaus Quality System, requirements of the customer and product specification, and related manufacturing, assembly, release of product, and shipping/receiving.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform final inspection of manufactured and tested tool assemblies using the Lucid portal.
• Verify welds and LPI results and other specified product characteristics in accordance with applicable procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Verify test data results are within acceptance criteria requirements issued by engineering, including FAT results, and assembly acceptance criteria.
• Verify all box and pin stenciling is correct and matches the thread cap label.
• Review required product photographs in SharePoint to verify they are clear, complete, identifiable, and properly maintained.
• Initiate the Q-Stop process whenever a discrepancy is identified with tools prior to shipment. Ensure all discrepancies are corrected and verified before the tools are released for shipping.
• Support the Thermal Division by ensuring Shipping Green Lights are issued in a timely manner to facilitate accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Initiate Nonconformance Reports where requirements are not met using the Steelhaus NCR WebApp
• Communicate quality concerns promptly to the Quality Manager and appropriate personnel.
• Support other QA/QC inspection, testing, documentation, and product-release activities as assigned.
Required Abilities, Knowledge, Experience
• 2+ years’ experience following procedures and completing records of activities
• 2+ years experience in a machine or assembly shop environment
• Working knowledge of management system procedures:
• Instructions
• Forms in compliance.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
