Role Description
We're hiring a Senior Web Designer to lead how the websites we build look and feel. You'll lead UI design for websites and eCommerce sites, from first concept through launch.
Design homepages, navigation, page templates, and modular content blocks. Build design systems for a family of brands to share one foundation. Design for a range of brands across consumer goods, healthcare, financial services, hospitality, and retail. Turn brand, UX flows, and content into high-fidelity, build-ready designs for desktop and mobile. Work closely with UX, strategy, development, and marketing. Carry design intent through build, QA, and launch. Lead UI across projects and help design systems mature. Bring AI into the work, from early exploration through handoff. This is a senior, client-facing role; local or remote candidates are welcome.
Qualifications
5+ years designing websites, including several full sites taken from concept through launch. Agency or studio experience strongly preferred. Your portfolio of live, shipped websites is the most important part of your application. Strong grasp of usability and WCAG 2.2 AA. Fluent in Figma and collaborative design workflows. Experience with Shopify or eCommerce is a plus. Northeast-based, ideally.
Requirements
Own website UI design from concept to launch. Design the whole site including homepages, landing pages, navigation, and footers. Build systems behind the sites with page templates and component libraries. Prototype to earn stakeholder approval before development starts. Deliver organized, documented Figma files and implementation-ready specs. Lead the work and make confident design decisions. Contribute to design systems, documentation, and reviews. Use AI tools across your workflow.
