Data Engineer – AWS Lead

Work Mode: Hybrid 2 days a week to office

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer Lead to design, build, and manage scalable data solutions on the AWS cloud platform. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in AWS data services along with strong leadership skills to drive data engineering initiatives and mentor teams.
Tasks Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of end-to-end data pipelines on AWS. Architect scalable data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS services. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies and solutions. Implement robust data governance, security, and compliance practices. Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of AWS-based data systems. Drive best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and DataOps in data engineering. Stay updated with evolving AWS technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years in data engineering with at least 2+ years in a lead role. Strong experience in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT frameworks. Hands-on experience building data pipelines on AWS cloud. Expertise in big data tools like Spark, Hadoop. Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and lake architecture. Experience working with Snowflake or Redshift. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
