Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceAt least 2 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role within financial services or FinTechAbility to turn ambiguous needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlogsExperience working with Agile engineering teams and tools such as Jira and Confluence, and confidence using SQL or similar analytical toolsKnowledge of data products, metadata, identifiers, mastered data, data quality, and the lifecycle of data across systemsUnderstanding of APIs, data models, integrations, and requirements for building reliable data servicesComfort using AI-enabled tools to develop prototypes or demonstrations that support discovery and stakeholder decisionsStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approachKnowledge of financial data workflowsExperience working with data platforms, APIs, data models, or analytics productsExposure to AI-enabled products, machine learning applications, or modern data technologiesAbility to translate strategic business objectives into practical product outcomesExperience working across global teams and managing multiple stakeholder groupsCustomer-centric mindset with a strong execution and delivery focusDemonstrated initiative, ownership, and continuous learning Responsibilities: Own and prioritise product backlogs, aligning delivery with product strategy, customer needs, and measurable business valueTranslate business and technical needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and non-functional requirementsPartner with Product Managers and Engineering to shape roadmaps, sequence capabilities, manage dependencies, and maintain a delivery-ready backlogLead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and user acceptance testing, ensuring delivered functionality meets agreed requirements and user outcomesUse AI-enabled tools to create prototypes and demonstrations that make ideas tangible, test assumptions, and accelerate decisionsDefine capabilities that make data and content easier to discover, understand, access, integrate, and reuseGather requirements covering metadata, taxonomy, lineage, ownership, entitlements, search, onboarding, and data qualityDefine requirements for mastered data, including identifier design and lifecycle, validation, matching, mapping, hierarchies, and cross-referencesUse SQL or similar analytical tools to investigate datasets, validate requirements, and support product decisionsWork across Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Operations, Commercial, and customer teams to understand workflows, resolve ambiguity, and drive alignmentCommunicate priorities, decisions, dependencies, risks, and progress clearly to technical and business audiencesUse customer feedback, product performance, and delivery insights to prioritise improvements and measure value Technologies: AIConfluenceSupportJIRAMachine LearningProduct OwnerSQL More:
