WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The purpose of this role is to lead frontline operations by supervising team members, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting the efficient delivery of restaurant and banquet services.
• Establish clear service standards and expectations for team members and supervise daily operations, provide ongoing coaching and recognition, and promptly address and document any performance concerns. • Conduct performance evaluations on all direct reports and propose development plans to help motivate workers to achieve goals.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and group conveners and is confident managing guest expectations, resolving issues and delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience. • Order and maintain inventory required for the business unit to operate effectively, adhering to the par levels provided by leadership. • Oversee and support the Restaurant and Banquets frontline teams with daily tasks and stepping in to perform frontline duties when required to support service flow. • Support leadership in POS programming and billing for guests/groups billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Based on business volumes, may be required to work in other F&B operations for extended periods of time • Develop and manage employee schedules, adjusting labour levels based on business volumes and group activity. • Ensures tactical processes and standards are followed to support the achievement of the Strategic Plan. • Ensures that daily expenses and labour schedules meet daily budget allocations.
