• Documents accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department policies. • Charges patients accurately, timely, and legibly according to CPT code format, price file, and insurance guidelines. • Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required. • Promotes a collaborative and supportive environment by serving as a mentor and positive role model for clinical staff and students, fostering professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and Engaging in autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, and clinical practice education within a peer group. • Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships and supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. • Actively supports scheduling to ensure each patient meets the plan of care by adjusting and adapting their own schedule and/or working within the team to meet the patients’ needs. • Oversees care provided by certified physical therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established regulations and practice standards. • Facilitates further development of staff clinical competency, collaborating with the manager in staff skills assessment and development of educational plans. • Performs evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. • Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency. Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education and utilizes each opportunity for teaching, documenting education and understanding as appropriate. Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

• Advanced level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]

• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]

Education:

• Doctorate [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• physical therapy

Work Experience:

•  1+ ear of experience as a Physical Therapist [Required]

Additional Information:

• Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] AND

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

• American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) [Required] OR

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) [Required]

$72,904.00 - $135,595.20 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
