Kalamazoo - Downtown Portage Street Role Description: Regulatory CMC Data/Digital Internship Location: Kalamazoo, MI Internship Summary: This position will support and work with Regulatory Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) product strategists for Animal Health pharmaceuticals that are distributed globally and is responsible for assisting with the digital transformation of data management, contributing to data analysis, and enhancing digital tools used in regulatory processes. Internship Job Duties:
• Support the collection, cleaning, and maintenance of regulatory data across various systems. • Assist with creating and maintaining digital databases for regulatory submissions and dossier management. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization within regulatory affairs. • Assist in the development and deployment of digital tools to streamline regulatory processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into regulatory strategy. • Support the digital transformation initiatives within Regulatory Affairs by identifying and recommending process improvements. • Aid in organizing and updating regulatory documents, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance guidelines.
Internship Qualifications: • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Regulatory Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of completed collegiate courses is preferred. • Strong technical background and excellent written and oral communication skills. • Must have the ability to work within teams, including collaborating with colleagues and maintaining partnerships. • Self-directed - can work with little supervision on most tasks. • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills – can work effectively under pressure.
