About this role
Responsible for managing the Peer Recovery Innovation Network (PRIN) grant at the Be Well Institute on Substance Use and Related Disorders, including overseeing day-to-day operations, reporting, data collection and management, and general project management.
Education and Experience: -Bachelor’s degree; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences preferred. -Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience is required.
• Identifies research areas that should be investigated.
• Establishes and communicates operating procedures, practices and guidelines.
• Assists in establishing and monitoring project budget.
• Plans, organizes and manages work of research and support staff.
• Responsible for oversight of subcontracts in partnership with the relevant financial and sponsored projects offices.
• Plans and manages promotion of the programming, including new partner recruitment.
• Serves as an internal liaison with other departments to ensure departmental compliance with institutional policies, procedures and protocols
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of and experience with project/program management, including contract management, proposals/grants, and compliance (research, regulatory). Demonstrated ability to work with IRB and other regulatory and agency/department management.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, staffing modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
• Ability to coordinate the diverse components of a project by quality project planning, execution and change control to achieve required balance of time, cost, quality and results.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
