Duties & Responsibilities
• Establish standards for management information and performance analytics by implementing governance over MIS definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies. • Maintain reporting dictionaries, calculation logic, data definitions, and version controls. • Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve source-data availability and quality. • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of performance information. • Develop and oversee executive dashboards and management reports. • Lead advanced analysis of trends, drivers, exceptions, and emerging risks. • Develop early-warning indicators and forward-looking performance analytics. • Establish controls over key performance information and reporting. • Challenge inconsistencies between reported performance and underlying data. • Oversee the automation of recurring management information processes. • Automate recurring MIS and scorecard production. • Provide validated outputs for Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR), and Executive reporting. • Establish report production, access, and change-management controls. • Monitor report usage and continuously improve dashboards and reporting solutions. • Lead analytical capability development and talent development initiatives within the team. • Partner with FP&A and Business Partners to meet management information requirements. • Ensure critical management information is delivered within agreed timelines. Job Requirements Minimum Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline. • Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualifications will be an added advantage. • Master’s Degree and/or professional certification in Accounting or Finance, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or other equivalent professional qualifications. Minimum Experience:
• 15+ years in MIS, Performance Analytics, BI, Data Analytics, or Management Reporting, including at least 5 years in senior management; banking/financial-services experience strongly preferred. • Demonstrable experience managing MIS reporting in a large and complex organization. • Understanding of banking financial drivers, including income, funding, credit, capital, liquidity, operating expenses, and profitability. • Experience in developing and implementing dashboards and management information frameworks.
