About this role

As a Collections | FOS CCE, you will be responsible for managing and resolving customer accounts in arrears. Your primary goal is to ensure timely and accurate debt recovery while maintaining a high level of customer service. You will collaborate with various teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to develop and implement effective collection strategies. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Manage and oversee the collections process for customer accounts in arrears. • Develop and implement effective collection strategies, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Negotiate and resolve customer disputes and complaints, ensuring fair and timely resolutions. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all collection activities. • Monitor and analyze collection performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures. • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Provide regular updates and reports on collection activities to stakeholders and management. • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a culture of trust and transparency. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collections and debt recovery.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of collections and debt recovery processes and best practices. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts. • Proficiency in MS Office and collections management software. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines. • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to industry changes.
