About this role
• Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for battery cells and energy storage solutions. • Identify emerging battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing innovations. • Drive R&D initiatives for next-generation lithium-ion and advanced battery chemistries. • Establish technology partnerships with research institutes, universities, and global technology providers. • Lead intellectual property development, patents, and technology differentiation initiatives. • Oversee development of Cylindrical, Prismatic, and Pouch Cell technologies.
• Guide cell chemistry selection, electrode design, electrolyte optimization, and performance enhancement. • Establish performance benchmarks for energy density, cycle life, safety, and cost. • Drive technology transfer from laboratory development to commercial-scale manufacturing.
• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. • M.Tech/MS preferred. • PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Storage, or Battery Technology is highly desirable.
