Base + Comm - As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships within a portfolio of Workplace Retirement clients. Acting as a trusted partner to plan sponsors, advisors, and key stakeholders, you will deliver proactive service, provide consultative support, and help clients achieve their retirement plan objectives. In this role, you will build strong client relationships through regular engagement, ongoing plan management, and a deep understanding of client needs. You will support discussions related to plan design, governance, investments, member engagement, and service delivery while identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes and support retention and growth objectives. Working closely with internal partners, sales teams, and leadership, you will lead client initiatives, address issues proactively, and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience. What you will do Manage and strengthen relationships within a portfolio of Workplace Retirement clients, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for plan sponsors, advisors, and consultants. Develop and execute client relationship strategies focused on retention, client satisfaction, growth, and achievement of client objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR leaders, Finance executives, advisors, consultants, and Governance Committees. Lead client meetings and strategic discussions related to plan design, governance, investments, legislative changes, member experience, and service delivery. Identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes, increase member engagement, grow plan assets, and expand client relationships. Create and execute annual business plans aligned to client priorities and organizational objectives. Partner with Sales to support retention and growth opportunities through RFP responses and finalist presentations. Lead client projects and initiatives, coordinating internal partners to deliver plan changes, communications, system enhancements, and other client priorities. Act as the voice of the client internally by proactively managing issues, advocating for client needs, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. Introduce and promote new products, services, and enhancements that provide value to clients and plan members. What you will bring Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of group retirement products, clients, and processes. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and internal partners. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Client-focused with strong business acumen and the ability to identify solutions aligned to client needs. Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience supporting client retention, growth initiatives, and sales opportunities. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Post-secondary education in a related field; RPA designation (or willingness to obtain) and CEBS designation are considered assets. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required. - The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
