POSITION INFO: Quality Auditors are responsible for inspecting products to ensure all quality standards are met in accordance with NSF, UPC, CSA, and IAPMO specifications, while verifying compliance with established packaging requirements. This role performs laboratory testing, measurements, and product evaluations in accordance with ASTM and Canadian standards to ensure product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance. Quality Auditors document findings, identify quality concerns, and work collaboratively with production teams to support continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of product excellence. Shift Hours: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Sunday through Thursday, with overtime as needed) RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect & test finished products at machine & in lab Inspect product at beginning of each start-up to verify compliance to applicable standards Maintain records of inspected product as required and report all substandard conditions Reject product that does not meet or exceed applicable standards Advise shift supervisors & troubleshooters of any substandard product & need to corrective action to meet or exceed quality guidelines Prepare & make available all reports concerning quality & testing to keep all responsible persons aware of current quality conditions. Calibration responsibility 3-part mold trialing sheets Conduct Final Packaging Audits Support and comply with safety programs Perform all other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE: Experience successfully operating and maintaining the machinery associated with this particular work area will be most heavily considered when selecting from applicants for this position (experience operating and maintaining any heavy manufacturing equipment, manual and/or automated, will be considered favorable). Familiarity with the quality checks associated with production of plastic fittings will also be a plus. If all above considerations are deemed to be equal, time of service will be used as the deciding factor in awarding the position.
