JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator Grade: Exempt 55 Job Code: 129080 JOB SUMMARY Builds brand trust and company reputation through community engagement and outreach in our service area. Leads company community engagement through either voluntarism, nonprofit donations & sponsorships, educational programming or community event support. Works in partnership with field-based personnel to plan and execute community engagement activities. Presents relevant company information related to job function to internal and external stakeholders. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Implement community stakeholder engagement through either voluntarism, nonprofit donations, educational programming or community events. Participate in social service organizations and community activities. Mobilize people and financial support for community activities. Build long-term relationships with key community stakeholders and groups for advocacy on behalf of company. Support field-based community affairs team in local community engagement. Assist with coordination of franchise election activities. Lead local area efforts for volunteer opportunities and participation. Provide support for storm situations, United Way efforts and award banquets. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; determining new program requirements and measurement of company impact. All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree and 5 years directly related experience; OR Associate's Degree and 7 years directly related experience; OR HS Diploma and 9 years directly related experience WORKING CONDITIONS May require extensive travel. May be required to work overtime and weekends and holidays. May require participation in meetings and activities outside of normal working hours. May require use of personal vehicle to perform job duties. Vehicle must be able to accommodate materials and supplies. May occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds when performing Safety programs or delivering materials to schools. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS) Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout the organization and outside professionals. Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information in a clear, concise and understandable manner. Self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong networking skills. Ability to project a positive Company image under sensitive and sometimes adverse conditions. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of and skill in event planning.
