Job Purpose and Impact The Poultry Broiler Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of designated area of broiler operations from DOC Placement at Farms, Feed Forecasting and Deliveries, Growing, Farm Clean-up, Harvest Planning and Forecasting, Live Transport Planning to achieve budgeted cost and quality of day Live Birds intended for the Poultry Plant Processing Operations. The position will ensure adequate communication is maintained between functions, contractors, customers and outside regulatory agencies. This position will be working close to the breeder manager, contract breeder producers, and company farms to arrive at solutions and make decisions that will positively impact their area of responsibility and the profitability of the business. Key Accountabilities Operational Excellence Drive broiler performance to achieve target feed conversion, live weight, and harvest recovery through disciplined brooding, optimal environmental control, and consistent feed and water quality management. Manage daily farm operations and harvest coordination to minimize losses and downtime by enforcing rigorous monitoring, corrective actions, biosecure cleaning, and heat‑stress‑controlled pre‑harvest and turnaround practices. Coordinate weekly chick placements by aligning hatchery output, feed mill capacity, genetics plans, and seasonal requirements. Manage end‑to‑end live haul and processing synchronization, including logistics, sanitation, loading, lairage, and alignment with plant volume, weight targets, and condemnation feedback. Operate with a data driven approach using performance dashboards to monitor key production, welfare, and environmental KPIs, driving evidence based decision making. Lead structured root cause analysis and improvement initiatives, supported by seasonal risk playbooks and antimicrobial reduction strategies, to strengthen resilience and sustainable flock performance. Biosecurity, Animal Welfare & Compliance Enforce strict biosecurity and animal welfare standards through controlled zoning, vehicle and visitor management, staff training, traceability, and full regulatory compliance. Lead disease outbreak preparedness and response, including quarantine, reporting, depopulation, approved disposal methods, and site recovery to protect flock health and continuity. Farm Recruitment and Retention and Grower Relationship Management Identify, assess, and qualify prospective farm partners within target regions through regional analysis and on‑site evaluations, ensuring suitability in climate, biosecurity, logistics, and proximity to key facilities. Maintain a strong, ready pipeline of compliant growers by evaluating farm readiness, coordinating fast and compliant onboarding with Procurement/Legal, and ensuring uninterrupted placement schedules through pre‑onboarding upgrades. Strengthen long‑term grower engagement and risk management by ensuring timely payments, regular communication, community and ESG involvement, safety leadership, and early intervention for at‑risk farms. People Leadership Lead hiring, performance management, development, discipline, and workforce planning to ensure capability, coverage, and succession. Build an engaged, inclusive, and safety-focused culture through regular coaching, toolbox talks, and reinforcement of best practices. Cost, Budget & Capex Own and manage broiler live‑operations P&L drivers by controlling key cost elements and partnering with Finance to maintain accurate budgets and support data‑driven decisions. Build and defend annual budgets, track monthly performance with variance actions, and prioritize ROI‑driven CAPEX investments to improve efficiency and profitability. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in animal production/animal nutrition or equivalent experience With work background on Poultry broiler operations, handling farms Willing to travel within the Philippines Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels in the plant Preferred Qualifications One year of supervisory experience Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management
