About the role We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator – Loading/Unloading to join our manufacturing team in Worksop. This is a permanent opportunity working as part of the manufacturing team, supporting the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials and finished products while ensuring all activities are completed in line with company procedures, safety standards and food safety requirements. The role operates on a 4-Shift system consisting of: • Monday to Friday 6am-2pm • Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm • Monday to Friday 10pm-6am • Weekend Shift - Saturday 6am - 6pm and Sunday 6pm - 6am Key Accountabilities Working as part of the manufacturing team, you will ensure all transport is loaded and unloaded in accordance with company policies and procedures, while following best practice and continuous improvement principles. • Ensuring the correct offloading of ingredients and loading of finished products for customer delivery. • Using the production management system and working alongside the PCS7 automation system in line with standard processes and procedures. • Carrying out process checks in the field and accurately recording information on internal systems and spreadsheets. • Ensuring activities comply with safety, food safety and quality requirements, escalating issues and taking appropriate corrective action where required. • Carrying out cleaning duties and maintaining a clean-as-you-go approach across the working environment. • Participating in EHS and Food Safety activities on site, including audits, safety observations and reporting. • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues through the site's maintenance management system. • Working collaboratively with the wider manufacturing team to support safe and efficient operations. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: • The ability and aptitude to effectively use production software and systems. • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and other basic Microsoft applications. • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. • The ability to take accountability for your own areas of responsibility. • Experience working within a busy manufacturing or production environment. • The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks calmly and effectively. • A continuous improvement mindset. • Excellent organisational skills.
