For our Bremerhaven location, starting August 1, 2027, in a 3-year integrated dual study program Dual Student Food Science (B.Eng.) (m/f/d) Your Journey with Us: What You Will Learn and Do Combine your Food Science studies at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences with exciting practical phases at FRoSTA, with a special focus on product development and food innovation. Learn how market-ready food products are created, from recipe development, ingredient selection, and sensory testing to technological implementation and quality assurance. Gain experience across various departments, especially Product Development, as well as Production, Quality Management, Purchasing, Logistics, and Marketing, while gradually taking on your own responsibilities. Apply your knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, food technology, business administration, and food law directly in practice through company projects and real-life business challenges. Contribute your expertise to development and transfer projects and help shape innovative food concepts. Your Profile: What You Bring and What We Will Develop Together You have a university entrance qualification (Abitur), a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or an equivalent qualification, and possess solid skills in mathematics and science subjects. You are interested in food products, their production, and quality, and are eager to understand how technology, science, and business interact within the food industry. You enjoy analytical and creative thinking, hands-on experiments, sensory evaluation, and scientific challenges, while approaching tasks in a structured and solution-oriented way. You are curious, motivated to learn, and excited to apply theoretical knowledge in laboratory settings and day-to-day business operations. You are enthusiastic about new products, trends, and ingredients, contribute your own ideas, and want to understand what makes food successful, safe, and sustainable.
