Summary Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience. This is 10hours/week. Job Duties Designs well-formulated hypothesis. Learns key research protocols. Learns how to recruit participants to co-create print ads/videos on health promotion Learns how to analyze graph and present health communication data Works with print ad and video companies to produce marketing materials and public service announcements (PSA). Works on getting in practical experience in health communications research, recruiting participants, administering surveys, assisting with focus groups, and analyzing, writing, and presenting health communication research. Works with print ad and video companies to produce marketing materials and public service announcements (PSA). Learns key research protocols. Learns how to recruit participants to co-create print ads/videos on health promotion, and complete surveys. Learns how to analyze graph and present health communication data. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution. Preferred Qualifications BA or BS degree Current enrollment in a graduate program for health communications or digital medial/film Limited (< 1 year) experience with health communications research Has strong organizational skills. Be able to work independently and proactively. Be able to meet project deadlines. Be proactive in following up on action items. Has excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Has fluency in English.
