Req ID: 141391 Remote Position: Hybrid Region: Americas Country: Canada State/Province: Ontario City: Toronto General Overview Job Title: Manager, Source to Contract 1 Functional Area: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Career Stream: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Role: Manager 1 (MG1) Job Code: MG1-SCM-S2C Job Band: 09 Direct/Indirect Indicator: Indirect Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Supply Chain Contract Excellence to support process standardization, continuous improvement, and operational data execution across electronics manufacturing workflows. In this role, you will act as a tactical lead for specific process improvement initiatives, focusing on best in class contracting processes, eliminating process bottlenecks, supporting standard work execution, and maintaining operational scorecards. Working under the leadership of the Senior Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional SCM teams, finance and legal functions, leveraging systems like SAP, Oracle, Power BI and Contract Lifecycle Management Platform to accelerate time-to-outcome and ensure process consistency. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Tactical Process Standardization & Execution Assist with deployment of the Supply Chain Process Excellence Framework by auditing standard execution across targeted functional domains, including contract terms optimization, risk assessments and supply chain data analytics. Optimize contracting workflows, placing targeted emphasis on governance structures and metadata evaluation. Conduct routine workflow reviews with junior team members to uncover operational constraints and confirm functional compliance. Continuous Improvement & Project Delivery Lead targeted, small-to-medium Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen events focused on cycle time reduction, and operational workflow efficiency. Partner with Commodity Management specialists to drive supplier standard contract terms enhancement, prioritizing framework governance, operational benchmarking, and targeted workflow optimization. Collaborate with functional leadership across site operations, commodity management, and finance to assess, baseline, and monitor cost reduction outcomes and productivity enhancements. Maintain the team’s continuous improvement project backlog and prepare monthly progress summaries. Data Reporting & Operational Dashboards Build and maintain functional Power BI reports and operational dashboards using data extracted from SAP and other ERP environments. Track operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and alert leadership to operational variances or data discrepancies. Assist in developing simple workflow automation and reporting enhancements to reduce manual handoffs. Functional Support & Training Act as a hands-on continuous improvement partner for commodity management, material sourcing, legal and finance specialists. Train operational staff on updated standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard work guidelines. Facilitate cross functional team coordination and track action items across operational project streams. Qualifications & Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; coursework in Business Law or Contract Law is preferred. Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in supply chain and manufacturing background; background in supplier contract negotiations is preferred. Technical Acumen: Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing data within SAP or other ERP platforms, along with intermediate to advanced skills in Power BI. Analytical Ability: Strong skills in quantitative analysis, data validation, and basic cost-benefit modeling. Preferred: Experience in Electronics Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing (EMS), or High-Tech manufacturing environments. APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP). Exposure to cloud-based data tools (Microsoft Azure) or workflow automation software. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
