Mining Engineer Supervisor (m/f) To support mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is seeking a Mining Engineer Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily mine production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The role is responsible for supervising mining operations, monitoring short-term mine plans, optimizing production activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while achieving production targets. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily mining operations and ensure achievement of production targets. Monitor compliance with short-term mine plans, designs, and operational schedules. Support drilling and blasting activities to ensure safe and efficient execution. Monitor equipment utilization and operational performance. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control. Promote compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Participate in risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations. Prepare production reports and monitor operational KPIs. Provide technical support and assist in resolving operational challenges. Education and Experience Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in open-pit mining operations (preferred). Technical Skills Knowledge of mining operations, mine planning, and production processes. Understanding of drilling and blasting activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with mining software is an advantage. Competencies Leadership and teamwork. Additional Requirements Fluent English (mandatory). Valid driving licence (preferred). Willingness to work in a remote mining environment on a rotational schedule.
