In doing so, the Analyst turns data into clear insight, keeps data accurate and reliable, and develops the analytical craft as scope is defined. Job Responsibilities Analysis and Decision Support Run analysis across data, credit and product to support day-to-day decisions. Turn data into clear, actionable insight for the leads and squad. Investigate questions methodically and present findings simply. Models and Reporting Build and maintain models and reports under guidance. Keep reporting accurate, timely and easy to interpret. Support the maintenance and monitoring of existing models. Data Quality and Automation Keep data accurate, reliable and well-structured for analysis. Automate and improve routine analytical tasks to save time and reduce error. Follow sound practice so work is reproducible and maintainable. Collaboration and Delivery Support Support the leads on scoping, planning and delivery. Collaborate with product, credit and engineering colleagues as needed. Communicate progress, questions and blockers clearly. Learning and Development Learn and grow the analytical craft through practice and feedback. Keep current on relevant tools, techniques and the bank's standards. Take initiative to broaden skills across data, credit and product. Job Responsibilities Continue Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification Honours in a quantitative field is advantageous. Minimum Experience Level At least two years in an analytical role, or equivalent demonstrated capability, with exposure to data analysis, reporting and basic modelling. Experience or study in credit, product or another quantitative context is advantageous, and a strong appetite to learn is essential.
