Your tasks: As an Intern (f/m/d) in our Clearing ETD & Risk Operations team, you will become fully integrated into the daily operations of the European Commodity Clearing (ECC), the central clearing house of the EEX Group. Over a period of up to 12 months, you will gain first-hand insights into the processes that ensure the secure and efficient functioning of European energy and commodity markets. You will be fully integrated into the daily activities of the team and gain valuable insights into the operational processes. You will support the team in advising clearing members and trading participants on topics related to risk, position, and collateral management, while developing a strong understanding of how risks are identified, monitored, and managed within a clearing house. In addition, you will contribute to the analysis and assessment of operational risks arising from daily business activities and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation measures. You will also be involved in the continuous enhancement of applications and systems used for risk monitoring and operational processes and help ensure that relevant procedures and documentation remain accurate and up to date. Throughout your internship, you will work closely with experienced colleagues, take on meaningful responsibilities, and gain hands-on experience in a highly dynamic and international market environment. You bring along: Recently completed or about to complete a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or relevant expereinces in a coporate banking or invstement banking Strong interest in financial markets, exchange trading, risk management, and the energy industry Analytical mindset and the ability to understand complex processes and interdependencies Proactive, structured, and reliable way of working Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel Fluent English skills; German is considered an advantage Why join us?
