About this role
Thingwall Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant level 1 to work as part of our nursery. The role will also include supporting the nursery with our wrap-around and holiday club provisions.
As a Teaching Assistant level 1 you will work closely as part of a team to deliver high-quality early years provision for children aged 2-5, supporting continuous provision, organising engaging play activities, and promoting children's learning, emotional, and physical well-being in line with the EYFS framework and Development Matters. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years, GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, demonstrating strong knowledge of Safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and effective communication with both young people and parents.
