Key Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership of Inclusion across the school Leading provision for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups Monitoring progress, provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additional needs Working collaboratively with families, external agencies and professionals Leading staff development to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice and impactful interventions Contributing to other whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team
We are looking for someone who:
Has a clear passion for Inclusion and high standards across the Primary phase Has a minimum of 5 years successful Primary teaching experience ideally across more than one Key Stage. Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong strategic leadership skills Has the NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or is willing to train and obtain this. Has strong communication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies Has personality, can inspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils
