Key responsibilities:
Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class(es) you are assigned to teach within the context of the academy's knowledge-rich curriculum Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, planning and adapting your practice to ensure the best possible outcomes Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies Be an excellent role model - exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectation for all members of the school community Maintaining the highest expectations for all children Qualifications and skills:
Relevant degree or equivalent Qualified Teacher Status Experience of working as a class teacher in a primary school setting in Key Stage 2 Alignment to the Four Cs Academy Trust values Knowledge of strategies to support learning, progress, and standards across the curriculum including evidence of impact on progress Principles and practices of high-quality teaching and learning Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, parents/carers and members of the community Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
