PermanentTerm Time Only plus 1 additional day30.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am - 3.20pmSalary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3 -6, £25,614 to £26,846 per annumActual Salary £17,797 to £18,653 per annumRequired as soon as possibleThe Governors are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Teaching Assistant to join our Catholic primary school at St Joseph’s, Otley. We are looking for an individual to provide support to children with additional needs as well as general classroom support. Experience is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who has numeracy and literacy skills grade 4 or above (or equivalent level) and who is:

Caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the child to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by the teacherAble to communicate effectively with pupils and staffFlexible in approach and able to adapt to working with both groups and individual pupilsWilling to help with activities both in the classroom and across the schoolProfessional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentialitySupportive of the Catholic ethos of the schoolWhat we can offer:
