About this role
We are currently recruiting for an additional Pastoral Officer to join an established team. Our Pastoral Officers form an important part of our staff team, supporting students and colleagues to give the highest quality holistic support to our young people. We are looking for individuals with some of the following skills, knowledge and experience:
able to establish effective relationships with parents/carers, students and outside agenciesexperienced in supporting students to access learning, and producing behaviour and intervention plansexperienced in supporting people with mental health issuesexperienced in supporting people with social and emotional barriers to learningable to engage and motivate studentsability to supervise students to ensure their safety and positive behaviourflexibility to work across the whole college as requiredexperienced in supporting students with a ride range of additional needsexcellent organisational skillsable to perform a duty role to support students and colleagues across the collegeable to use initiative and work effectively in a team
