About this role
Interested candidates can:
Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Teach Childcare across the relevant key stages and qualifications. Develop pupil theoretical knowledge alongside practical and vocational skills. Use a range of effective teaching and assessment strategies to support progress. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support improvement. Support pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding required for further study, employment and careers within the childcare sector. Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share good practice and develop the Childcare curriculum. Maintain high expectations of pupil behaviour, engagement and achievement.Early applications are encouraged.
