Main Duties and Responsibilities
Act as designated key holder and point of contact in emergenciesMaintaining a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability accessUpdating emergency plans and risk assessmentsEnsuring building compliance and administrative recordsOverseeing site security, fire prevention, and other safety systemsScheduling (as well as undertaking) regular building maintenance and servicingContracting professionals for upkeep and repairs as neededEnsuring all required utilities are in place & monitoredBe the Site budget holder and keep costs within budgetArranging for building improvements including tendering contractsOverseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobsLine lead for site assistants, grounds staffHiring employees or contractors as needed to maintain, repair, or improve the propertyProviding training for all employees as neededEvaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additionaltraining to ensure proper maintenance of the buildingScheduling contractors and employeesResolving complaints, problems, and requests from usersAssisting with emergency response, evacuations and supervisory duties as requiredUndertake daily duties as per Duty rota and cover for absent site staffHold termly site walks with Operations Manager, checking for any repairs or maintenance required.Other Duties:

The job holder will line lead Site Assistants and Groundskeeper. You may also be required to assist with H&S induction or training of colleagues and new staff.
