About this role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week over five days, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The successful candidate will be a positive and reliable team player, working across both the Science and Technology Faculties. The role offers an opportunity to support a range of practical activities and work collaboratively with teaching and support staff across both departments.
Ideally, candidates will have previous experience of working in an educational setting, although this is not essential. What is essential is a calm, friendly and helpful manner, together with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and work flexibly across both faculties.
The Science Faculty is supported by a Senior Technician and a full-time Technician, while the Technology Faculty has a part-time Technician. Both faculties have a range of specialist facilities, including science laboratories and practical rooms for Art, Food and Design & Technology.
We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and approachable, with a willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.
