About the Role:
Peterhouse CE Primary strives to be the rock of the community. We are seeking an exceptional leader to help the school achieve this aim, allowing children to thrive through high expectations, inspiring teaching and close links with our community and families.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the Interim Headteacher of Peterhouse Church of England Primary Academy, a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school where children are at the heart of every decision.
Located in the coastal town of Gorleston, Peterhouse is one of the largest primary schools in our Trust, serving a community with higher-than-average levels of disadvantage. Our children deserve the very best, and our staff are relentless in their commitment to helping every pupil succeed.
The school was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in December 2023 and has worked hard to build on this success and improve outcomes for all our children. You will have the opportunity to provide clear direction and continuity for the school community, ensuring the continued success and improvement of Peterhouse CE Primary.
We are seeking an inspirational, values-led leader who will:
Champion every child and ensure they achieve their full potential. Inspire and develop a talented, committed staff team. Lead with vision, compassion and determination. Secure consistently high-quality teaching and an ambitious curriculum. Nurture a culture where children, families and staff feel valued, supported and proud to belong. Uphold and strengthen the Christian vision and values that make Peterhouse CE Primary Academy such a special place to learn and work.
If you are passionate about making a lasting difference to children's lives and want to lead a school with enormous potential, within a Trust that values collaboration, professional growth and moral purpose, we would be delighted to hear from you.
