Learning Support Assistant (Primary) - One-to-One

Larchwood Primary School is seeking a new Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a child with special needs. Come and join the friendly team of LSAs working at a school which values Fairness, Friendship, Honesty, Perseverance, Respect and Responsibility.

Full-time; term-time only (38 weeks + 1 INSET Day)Monday- Friday, 8.30am-3.15pmEssex Support Staff Scale 3 (point 6-7): £27,600 - £28,027Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027 (dependent on funding)Please note that this role will include working one-to-one with a child with special needs. About you

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Good standard of maths and English, both written and spoken (O Level or GCSE grade C or above)Should have creative ideas which can be contributed to the planning of activitiesHave excellent organisational and interpersonal skills plus be able to demonstrate high expectations of achievement for allPrevious experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preferableGood sense of humourWhat we can offer:
